The newest formula for my desk and face is the brand new Clinique Moisture Surge Intense 72-Hour Lipid Replenishing Hydrator.
The pretty pink jar contains hyaluronic acid, which is my favorite because it’s a moisturizing ingredient that has the unique ability to hold 1000 times its weight in water.
The formula is a lovely medium-weight creamy gel—not a super thick or heavy paste, which I think might be able to provide so much moisture.
On the first use of this product, I was amazed by the texture. Despite the claim to provide 72 hours of hydration to the skin – even after washing your face.
The first time I tried it, I brushed it on clean skin at night. I didn’t use any other serums or products because I wanted to really get a feel for what a moisturizer can do on its own. It absorbs well.
Overall, I would give this Clinique Moisture Surge 72 Hour Auto Hydrating Moisturizer a 9/10. If it could be improved I would say add an SPF and then it can be used as a day cream without the extra SPF.
