I have always been a fan of Clinique’s products. They are affordable and effective. This Custom-Repair Moisturizer is a great day cream with some SPF protection. What i love most about it is that it doesn’t leave the skin too greasy or oily like some other skin products with sun protection.
Clinique Smart SPF 15 Custom Repair Moisturizer is a good moisturiser that tackles all your lines and wrinkles, aswell as providing a good SPF to protect your face during the day. It’s a nice cream with a lovely scent, and soaks in well, leaving your skin feeling soft, smooth and ready for the day.
It protects your skin against UVA and UVB rays, so if you are outside this is a really good and time saving product, as you are moisturising and protecting your skin at the same time. It’s great for smoothing the skin, and adding moisture and hydration too. Used every morning, you will notice a reduction in your fine lines and wrinkles, and you will notice smoother looking skin.
For most ‘with SPF’ products I’m usually wary in case they’re heavy and pore clogging. I am usually happy with Clinique’s moisturisers though, so I didn’t have too many worries about this irritating my skin or not working. I only used the smallest amount at first and a little really goes a long way.
The smell isn’t too sunscreen-like which is always a bonus. It’s a really thick product, which does take some time to absorb into my skin. Because this is for the morning I did have to mix up my routine a bit to give it time to sink in before I applied foundation.
My skin felt extremely soft and smooth after use and there was no redness or irritation at all. Yes, I think if I had the budget for a higher end moisturiser this would be one of my top picks.
I would recommend this product for someone young in their late teens or young twenties as a daily skin care routine for daytime. However, I do suggest applying additional sunscreen on the face.
