I am thrilled that Clinique finally offers a retinol face cream. My skin feels smoother, looks brighter and my large pores appear to be slightly reduced. In addition, my lines seem to be a little smoother.
I do understand skincare products work differently for everyone. I applied this every night for about 3 weeks right after I applied my toner. I would let it sit on my skin for about 15-20 minutes and then apply my Cerave night moisturizer.
My skin looked absolutely beautiful, hydrated, and super glowy in the morning when I would wake up; I didn’t have any dryness or irritation. My skin is so smooth and even.
Retinol is not an over night cure and does take quite a bit of time to see drastic results. The directions are VERY CLEAR to start out applying Every Other Night to see how your skin reacts and to apply a moisturizer over this.
Even if your skin is pretty tough, extra moisturizer is a must when using any product containing Retinol. If you start out slowly and apply moisturizer on top of this, I promise, you will love this product and see results.
I can honestly say this is the best OTC Retinol I’ve tried so far, it gives you results without the dry, flaky, peeling skin issues that usually happens with Retinol. I would 100% recommend this product to anyone looking for a retinol serum.
